Spring Craziness

Another May 1 has come and gone, which means that it is about time to start thinking about the Class of 2013! We are excited to be able to have a great group of students joining us this Fall from all over the country and the world! For most of April I have spent my time up in New England doing various recruiting activities for next years class. Even though I've been busy, I did make time to go to a Red Sox game up here in Boston. I also spent opening day sitting across from Fenway watching the game on TV, which can only be bested by spending next year inside Fenway (anyone know where I can get tickets for it next year??). Another great thing about spending a lot of time up here is that I got time to attend a local National Foxday Event. I got a chance to see some guys who I played hockey with at Rollins as well as other people who I knew when I was at Rollins. It was my first one of these events and it helped to show me how well the Rollins community functions away from campus.

To start off my International travels for the year, I will be visiting Europe starting in the middle of May. I will be making school visits in London, Geneva, Den Haag, Amsterdam, Paris, and Istanbul. Also on my weekends I will be making a few visits around places I have not been before in Europe including Oxford, Belgium (Brussels and Bruges) and Munich. This will be a great chance to start making sure that we will have a great class of International students starting in 2009. If you have any questions about what schools I will be visiting, you can e-mail me at mlmoore@rollins.edu.

I apologize for the long delay in posting, but life has been pretty crazy both on and off campus trying to get all the decisions made for all the students to make their tough college choices. I will hopefully be able to post more often now that things are slowing down a bit. I hope everyone has made the difficult choices and hopefully a lot have chosen Rollins!! Hope to see some of you in the fall...
