One day in Paris meant that I had a whole day of visiting schools and was only left with 2.5 hours to see one of the greatest cities in the world! I did manage to walk from the Parc Trocadero all the way to Notre Dame and back. It was a blistering pace to do that, see all the sights I wanted and get back to my hotel in time to get my suitcase and then take a taxi to the airport for a 7pm flight. Mid walk I got a wonderful downpour which made the journey a little bit more difficult. In the end I made it back with 5 minutes to spare, although I did have to skip le Arc de Triomphe to make it in that amount of time. I got to see the Eifel Tower, Louvre, Notre Dame and all the other usual sights. It was quick trip to the city of lights and I definitely felt my marathon walk through the city for a day or two after!
